THE CORPORATE OFFICERS
Marianna Grimes-Chapman, President & Chairman of Board Manages the Personal Insurance Department of the agency. She has her CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation having been in the insurance industry since 1980. Since joining Grimes Insurance Agency, Inc. she has served on local and state insurance committees and has served as President of the Independent Insurance Agents of Lubbock.
Delbert Gault, Executive Vice-President manages the Commercial Insurance Department of the agency. He has obtained the prestigious CPCU (Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter) designation having been in the insurance industry since 1970. He has worked on various state and local insurance committees and has held all offices including President of the Independent Insurance Agents of Lubbock.
Sharon Duncan, General Manager & Sr. Vice-President manages agency operations and performs accounting duties. She has her ACSR (Accredited Customer Service Representative) designation having been with Grimes Insurance since 1982. She is a member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Lubbock and has served as President of the Lubbock Insurance Association twice as well as holding all offices and many committee chairman positions. She has also served as Regional Director and has chaired and served on many committees for the state organization, Federation of Insurance Women of Texas.
CUSTOMER SUPPORT
Dolly Belknap has worked in insurance since 1984 and joined Grimes Insurance Agency in 1994. She serves as Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative. She has her ACSR (Accredited Customer Service Representative); PIWT (Professional Insurance Woman of Texas); and CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designations.
Sonya Murphy joined the staff of Grimes Insurance Agency in 2004. She assists Dolly Belknap and Delbert Gault in the Commercial Lines Department as Customer Service Representative.
Brenda Richards has worked in insurance since 1984 and joined Grimes Insurance Agency in 1999. She works as Personal Lines Executive Assistant to Marianna Grimes-Chapman, Personal Lines Manager. She has her ACSR (Accredited Customer Service Representative) and PIWT (Professional Insurance Woman of Texas) designations.
Sherry Davidson has worked in insurance since 1992 and joined Grimes Insurance Agency in 1993. She serves as Receptionist and Assistant Personal Lines Customer Service Representative. She has her ACSR (Accredited Customer Service Representative) and PIWT (Professional Insurance Woman of Texas) designation.
SALES
Richard Duncan, Vice-President has worked in insurance and with Grimes Insurance since 1995. His experience prior to that time was in direct sales and business management.
Cynthia “Susie” Trusty has worked in insurance since 1985 and joined Grimes Insurance in 1998. She is a Personal Lines Executive Assistant working closely with Marianna Grimes-Chapman, Personal Lines Manager. She has her ACSR (Accredited Customer Service Representative) and PIWT (Professional Insurance Woman of Texas) designation.
